There are So many incredible restaurants in Los Angeles so, when dining out, how does one decide where to eat?  One way to make your choice is to get recommendations from friends – notably those people whose palates you respect.

Providence was one such recommendation and a successful one at that!  A Michelin rated restaurant, Povidence is situated on Melrose Avenue, amongst the hustle and bustle of this exciting LA neighborhood.

The chic and modern interior makes for a very stylish setting to enjoy the delicious food. Co-owners Donato Poto and Executive Chef Michael Cimarusti have created a menu inspired by “family and the treasures of the ocean” and featuring the finest wild seafood and shellfish.

If you take this restaurant recommendation, be ready to sample some of the finest market seafood in the city.  There is a chef’s menu which promises to impress.  Be sure to try the scallops and oysters, if they are available, as well as the dark chocolate cake.
